3.14 Input label provided only to screen reader users (L)

3.14.1 WCAG 1.3.1 (A), 3.3.2 (A) - Desktop, Mobile, iPad

On the Contact History page, users are given the option to filter the search results by selecting a particular date range. While the date input for the ‘To’ date has been displayed, the ‘From’ label is not presented visually. This is only announced to screen reader users.

This might affect some users, such as those with cognitive disabilities, who might not understand the purpose of the first date input. Only screen reader users are provided this information explicitly.

3.14.2 Recommendation

Display the ‘From’ label visually so that is is accessible to all users, not just those using screen readers. Ensure that this label is still programmatically associated with the input field.
